Next week is National Volunteer Week as well as being Neighbourhood House Week. In celebration of both Otway Health’s Volunteer Coordinator and Marrar Woorn Coordinator have joined forces to present a series of free events open to the community.

Here’s the program for the week:

Monday 8 May 11-12pm on your FM radio – 86.7FM

Marrar Woorn Radio – Marrar Woorn launches their radio show profiling the great programs and tutors you can access at your local neighbourhood house in Apollo Bay.

Tuesday 9 May 9.30-10.30am Marrar Woorn

Computer and ipad introduction – Marrar Woorn IT tutor Sarah Bell will available to assists you with all your computer and ipad enquires to help you make the most of these technologies.

Wednesday 10 May 11.30am-12.30pm Marrar Woorn

FREE Meditation session with Rachel Harmer – More and more doctors are recognising the benefits of meditation as a way to lower blood pressure, improve exercise performance in people with angina, and relieve the everyday stresses of life.

Movie Screening – The King’s Speech. Popcorn, tea and coffee provided
