Associate Nurse Unit Manager

Part time / Fulltime (negotiable)

Otway Health currently has vacancy for Associate Nurse Unit Managers to complement our Clinical Care Team.

Otway Health is looking for experienced ANUMs who are committed to the delivery of high quality client focused services and the highest standards of care, guided by our values of service: Professional, compassionate, responsive, accountable, and respectful. The role encompasses leading and working within our Acute, Residential and Urgent Care units as part of our Nurse Practitioner led service.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes;

  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration (Current)
  • Demonstrated insight into the management responsibilities of an ANUM
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
  • Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills – able to lead, coach and mentor staff
  • Advanced assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care
  • Proven success in a similar role.

Customer Service Officer

Otway Health is currently recruiting for the Customer Service Officer position to assist in managing the day to day functioning of Otway Health’s Customer Service Desk. The Customer Service Officer provides front-line customer focused assistance both at the Customer Service Desk and over the telephone on all areas of Otway Health as well as general administrative support for the organisation. This position is the face of Otway Health and the first point of contact for our community.

The successful applicant will be committed, reliable and capable of delivering a high standard of customer service, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm and initiative.

This is a casual position and the successful applicant will receive comprehensive training prior to commencement in the role.

Community Care Worker

Otway Health is seeking to employ a Community Care Worker to provide personal care, domestic assistance services and social support to clients in their homes. We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and caring individual to join the Community Care Service team.  The position of Community Care Worker requires the following:

  • Current or working towards Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Apply Advanced First Aid
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Own Vehicle
