In this edition of the Otway Health Check, Assessment Officer and Social Support Coordinator, Pollyanna Day takes us through the My Aged Care process with Communications Officer, Sarah Bell and Segment Producer, Bob Knowles. Polly provides insight into My Aged Care and describes a typical assessment that is used to help determine the level of care needed to remain living independently at home. Polly also highlights Respite Care services offered by Otway Health and let’s us know that it’s OK to take some time out for ourselves.

Polly and Sarah later discuss the importance of having social support groups in the local community and call out for suggestions for upcoming groups.
